Week 01 2024

Every year, I write a note to myself, which I place in the Christmas Tree box when we stow it away for the year. The note will greet “future Dennis” in November when we bring out the artificial tree for another Christmas season.

Most years, my advice is to slow down and soak up the season, fueled by disappointment that I raced through another season. This year, I actually slowed down. I was intentional about being present. So, when I open the Christmas Tree in November 2024, I’ll read my reminder to do it again.

My goal now is to be present every day between today and the day after Thanksgiving.
