An Interview with HOW: Interactive Design Conference
Last month I had the chance to talk with Natalie Boyd, a writer who does work for HOW and Print, two prominent magazines/websites focusing on graphic and interaction design. We spoke a bit about my research and my upcoming presentation at the HOW Interactive Design Conference in San Francisco, September 19-22, 2015 where I will be presenting “Research Your Way Into Users’ Hearts.” I had a great time chatting with Natalie about the value and roles of design research in professional design practice. I also had a chance to talk a bit about my “people-driven” design research approach to studying and addressing social issues. The interview has been posted to HOW’s website and can be found at: http://www.howdesign.com/conference-news/dennis-cheatham-people-driven-design-research/
