Week 15 2024

Wow. That was amazing.

We experienced a full solar eclipse today in Oxford. For just over three minutes, our city was in total darkness. Okay, it looked more like a 360-degree sunset, but during those minutes, outdoor lights came on, birds stopped chirping, and the sun’s corona was in full view as the moon blocked it completely.

Folks shot fireworks, cheered, and stood beside themselves, trying to soak in the moment. Truly breathtaking.
