Week 40 2023

I heard Dan Povenmire, co-creator of Phineas and Ferb, speak tonight at Miami University. My son joined me. It was a night of memories—Phineas and Ferb is a “core memory” for our family. The show was a huge part of my son’s growing up and my daughter watched tons of it when she was a little older.

After Dan finished his talk, dozens of audience members shared how much the show meant to them when they asked questions at an open mic. I’m so moved by what a difference a fun, empowering, imaginative show can make to inspire people. Let’s keep making this kind of content.
